Our Head Chef & Operations Manager, Sales Manager, and Director aren’t just employees—they’re shareholders, too.   • The heart and hustle behind Pure Catering, Kellie-Ann Ashton is not just captain to our ship —she’s also a proud mum of five (and recent Noona!), a wine enthusiast, and the woman who built this business from the ground up (often with a baby on her hip and a clipboard in hand).

    Originally from Orange, NSW, Kellie-Ann’s love of food and feeding people started early—sparked by her Spanish grandmother Delphine, where every meal was full of flavour and a whole lot of love. That same energy flows through Pure Catering today.

    She started Pure Catering when her now-grown children were still in nappies, juggling family life with her dream of running a catering company that puts people first—clients and team. Over a decade later, she’s still just as hands-on, leading with warmth, grit, and an eye for detail that ensures every event runs seamlessly.

    Kellie-Ann is also a proud shareholder in the business, and her passion, pride, and fierce loyalty to her team are at the heart of everything we do.

  • Olivia is the daughter of Pure Catering’s founder, Kellie-Ann—and you could say hospitality runs in her blood. She’s been part of the Pure family since day one, officially joining the team the moment she was legally allowed to work (and unofficially helping long before that!).

    Now a proud shareholder in the business, Olivia has grown alongside Pure Catering as it evolved from a small family operation into one of Brisbane’s most trusted catering companies. In her role as Sales & Event Manager, she leads with warmth, creativity, and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver a seamless client experience—from first enquiry to final menu.

    Her dedication to thoughtful communication and genuine connection with clients has become a hallmark of the Pure Catering journey, helping shape not just events, but long-term relationships built on trust and care.

  • Originally from Old London Town, Jamie brings both world-class training and genuine heart to the Pure Catering kitchen. A classically trained chef who began his career under the legendary Albert Roux, Jamie has had the honour of cooking for some of the world’s most notable names—including members of the Royal Family, Sir David Attenborough, and the Rothschilds.

    Since joining Pure Catering in 2018, Jamie has led our kitchen team with passion, precision, and a deep respect for his craft. With experience spanning private clubs, award-winning gastropubs, luxury caterers, and gourmet food trucks, Jamie brings a global perspective to every menu—tailoring each one to create a truly memorable dining experience.

    As a proud share holder, what brings Jamie the most joy isn’t just the food itself—it’s seeing the reactions of guests at events. A smile after the first bite, a compliment shared with the waitstaff, or a guest coming back for seconds… those moments of genuine enjoyment are what fuel his creativity and pride. For Jamie, it’s more than just cooking—it’s connection, celebration, and the chance to make every event unforgettable.


  • Rachelle is the ultimate (food) package—an accomplished chef, a qualified dietitian, and the calm force behind the scenes making sure everything runs like clockwork. With a double degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, and years of hands-on experience earned during her apprenticeship in Melbourne, Rachelle has worked with some of the largest national and multinational organisations in the industry.

    Now a proud shareholder and our Operations Manager at Pure Catering, Rachelle brings a rare blend of culinary expertise and nutritional insight to everything she does. She oversees the daily operations that get food from our kitchen to your tables—seamlessly, safely, and always on time. Her passion lies in creating catering experiences that not only taste incredible but also honour the unique dietary needs of each event and guest.

    Rachelle’s dedication, precision, and quiet leadership are an essential part of what makes Pure Catering trusted by so many. She’s proof that behind every beautifully served plate is someone who truly cares about what’s on it—and how it got there.

  • Shane is the steady hand behind the scenes, making sure every event runs like clockwork—from the first delivery to the final pack down. As our Event & Logistics Manager, he coordinates transport, setup, and all the moving parts that make Pure Catering events seamless and stress-free.

    Shane has been working with Kellie-Ann since 2011, and his loyalty, care, and calm presence have become part of the fabric of the business. He’s not just about getting things from A to B—he’s the one we turn to when a bump in the road needs a creative fix or when a last-minute change calls for cool thinking and quick action.

    With a natural talent for problem-solving, an eye for detail, and a quiet pride in every job well done, Shane brings heart, experience, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes magic to the Pure Catering team.

  • Originally from Scotland and proudly rocking the accent to prove it, Vinnie is our fearless Sous Chef and Head Chef Jamie’s right-hand man in the kitchen. With sharp skills, a quick wit, and a calm-under-pressure attitude, he helps lead the culinary team through everything from wedding feasts to large-scale events with effortless precision.

    Vinnie’s no-fuss approach and dry sense of humour make him a favourite both in the kitchen and on-site. Whether he’s perfecting plating or keeping the team in sync during a busy service, he’s all about quality, consistency, and getting the job done right (with a bit of banter along the way).

    Dependable, detail-oriented, and always up for a laugh, Vinnie is a key ingredient in the Pure Catering kitchen—and we wouldn’t be the same without him.

  • If the Pure Catering kitchen is the orchestra, Linsay is the conductor—keeping everything in sync and running on time. As our Dispatch Manager, she’s the powerhouse behind the scenes making sure every order is packed perfectly, every driver knows their route, and every delivery leaves right on cue.

    With an incredible eye for detail and a knack for logistics, Linsay juggles dozens of moving parts each day—ensuring that everything from early morning breakfasts to large-scale corporate drops arrive exactly as planned.

    Linsay brings structure, precision, and a whole lot of heart to her role. Her leadership and behind-the-scenes magic are a vital part of why our clients get what they need, when they need it—without ever seeing the hustle it took to get it there.

  • John joined the Pure Catering team in 2020 and has been keeping us on our toes—and laughing—ever since. Known for his cheeky sense of humour and booming voice, John brings big energy and even bigger dedication to every shift.

    As our Kitchen Porter, John plays a vital role behind the scenes, keeping things spotless, organised, and running smoothly so the chefs can do their thing. He approaches every task with care and precision, never missing a detail and always ready to jump in wherever he’s needed.

    Loud, loyal, and loved by the whole team, John is the kind of person who makes work feel a little more fun and a lot more efficient. Pure Catering wouldn’t be the same without him.

  • You’ll usually hear Paul before you see him—his booming laugh and contagious energy have a way of filling any room (or office). As our Business Development Manager, Paul is all about building relationships, sparking new opportunities, and making sure people feel excited about working with Pure Catering.

    He’s been in business—and great mates—with our founder Kellie-Ann for over 20 years, bringing loyalty, laughter, and a sharp eye for growth to everything he does. Whether he’s chatting with a new corporate client or dreaming up ideas for the next big event, Paul leads with authenticity, enthusiasm, and a knack for turning conversations into long-term connections.

    Simply put: if Paul’s on the job, things are happening—and everyone’s smiling.

  • Originally from Colombia, Nelson brings a touch of flair and a whole lot of creativity to the Pure Catering kitchen as our talented Pastry Chef. With a passion for flavour, texture, and stunning presentation, he’s the mastermind behind our beautifully crafted desserts and pastries that always leave a lasting impression.

    From delicate tarts and rich chocolate creations to playful, event-themed sweets, Nelson’s work is as much art as it is indulgence. He’s constantly experimenting with new ideas, drawing inspiration from his roots and global trends to bring something fresh and exciting to every menu.

    Quietly focused but always smiling, Nelson’s attention to detail and love for his craft shine through in every sweet bite. At Pure Catering, he turns desserts into moments—ones your guests will remember long after the last spoonful.
