Our Head Chef, Sales Manager, Logistics Manager and Director aren’t just employees—they’re shareholders, too. This shared ownership means every plate we serve and every event we deliver is backed by real passion, pride, and accountability.

  • The heart and hustle behind Pure Catering, Kellie-Ann Ashton is not just captain to our ship —she’s also a proud mum of five (and recent Noona!), a wine enthusiast, and the woman who built this business from the ground up (often with a baby on her hip and a clipboard in hand).

    Originally from Orange, NSW, Kellie-Ann’s love of food and feeding people started early—sparked by her Spanish grandmother Delphine, where every meal was full of flavour and a whole lot of love. That same energy flows through Pure Catering today.

    She started Pure Catering when her now-grown children were still in nappies, juggling family life with her dream of running a catering company that puts people first—clients and team. Over a decade later, she’s still just as hands-on, leading with warmth, grit, and an eye for detail that ensures every event runs seamlessly.

    Kellie-Ann is also a proud shareholder in the business, and her passion, pride, and fierce loyalty to her team are at the heart of everything we do.

  • Olivia is the daughter of Pure Catering’s founder, Kellie-Ann—and you could say hospitality runs in her blood. She’s been part of the Pure family since day one, officially joining the team the moment she was legally allowed to work (and unofficially helping long before that!).

    Now a proud shareholder in the business, Olivia has grown alongside Pure Catering as it evolved from a small family operation into one of Brisbane’s most trusted catering companies. In her role as Sales & Event Manager, she leads with warmth, creativity, and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver a seamless client experience—from first enquiry to final menu.

    Her dedication to thoughtful communication and genuine connection with clients has become a hallmark of the Pure Catering journey, helping shape not just events, but long-term relationships built on trust and care.

  • Originally from Old London Town, Jamie brings both world-class training and genuine heart to the Pure Catering kitchen. A classically trained chef who began his career under the legendary Albert Roux, Jamie has had the honour of cooking for some of the world’s most notable names—including members of the Royal Family, Sir David Attenborough, and the Rothschilds.

    Since joining Pure Catering in 2018, Jamie has led our kitchen team with passion, precision, and a deep respect for his craft. With experience spanning private clubs, award-winning gastropubs, luxury caterers, and gourmet food trucks, Jamie brings a global perspective to every menu—tailoring each one to create a truly memorable dining experience.

    As a proud share holder, what brings Jamie the most joy isn’t just the food itself—it’s seeing the reactions of guests at events. A smile after the first bite, a compliment shared with the waitstaff, or a guest coming back for seconds… those moments of genuine enjoyment are what fuel his creativity and pride. For Jamie, it’s more than just cooking—it’s connection, celebration, and the chance to make every event unforgettable.

  • Shane is the steady hand behind the scenes, making sure every event runs like clockwork—from the first delivery to the final pack down. As our Event & Logistics Manager, he coordinates transport, setup, and all the moving parts that make Pure Catering events seamless and stress-free.

    Shane has been working with Kellie-Ann since 2011, and his loyalty, care, and calm presence have become part of the fabric of the business. He’s not just about getting things from A to B—he’s the one we turn to when a bump in the road needs a creative fix or when a last-minute change calls for cool thinking and quick action.

    With a natural talent for problem-solving, an eye for detail, and a quiet pride in every job well done, Shane brings heart, experience, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes magic to the Pure Catering team.

  • Chef Liv – Chef Operations

    Chef Liv is the link between our kitchen and operations team, bringing passion, precision, and plenty of personality to both sides of the business. She helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes and happily jumps back into the kitchen whenever she gets the chance—because great food will always be her first love.

    Linsay – Dispatch Manager

    Linsay is the heartbeat of dispatch, making sure every order leaves the kitchen correctly packed, on time, and ready to impress. With a sharp eye for detail and a calm approach under pressure, she keeps the wheels turning every single day.

    Paul – BDM & HR

    Paul wears many hats across the business, looking after both business development and our people. From building strong client relationships to supporting staff behind the scenes, he brings energy, experience, and a genuine care for both clients and team culture.

    Vincent – Sous Chef

    Vincent is our steady hand in the kitchen, supporting production, leading service, and ensuring consistency across every menu. As Sous Chef, he brings strong leadership, attention to detail, and a calm presence during even the busiest days.

    John – Kitchen Porter

    John is the quiet (loud) hero of the kitchen, keeping everything clean, organised, and running smoothly behind the scenes. His reliability and work ethic make him an essential part of the team every single day.

    Nelson – Pastry Chef

    Nelson is the creative force behind our pastry kitchen, crafting everything from delicate desserts to beautiful corporate sweets and wedding treats. His attention to detail and passion for presentation bring that extra wow factor to every event.

    Sean – Chef de Partie

    Sean is our go-to for all hot meal production, overseeing everything from individual plated meals to large-scale buffet service, bringing consistency, strong service skills, and a genuine love for great food. He thrives in fast-paced service and is the first to lend a helping hand.

    Steph – Chef de Partie

    Steph leads all salads and cold buffet production, making sure every spread is fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. With a great eye for detail and strong kitchen organisation, she helps deliver the quality and abundance our buffet service is known for.

    Crystal – Catering Assistant

    Crystal is the queen of the sandwich room and platter preparation, making sure every corporate order looks fresh, abundant, and beautifully presented. Her eye for detail and consistency make her an important part of our daily catering operations.

    Our Casual Events Team

    Behind every successful event is our incredible casual events team—our chefs, kitchen hands, supervisors, bartenders, and wait staff who bring each function to life on site.

    These are the people who create the guest experience: setting up venues, serving beautiful food, shaking cocktails, managing timelines, clearing tables, supporting the kitchen, and making sure every event runs seamlessly from start to finish.

    Many of our casual staff have worked with us for years and are a hugely valued part of the Pure Catering family. They are not just extra hands for busy weekends—they are trusted professionals who represent our brand with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. From intimate private dinners to large-scale weddings and corporate events, they help deliver the level of service our clients remember long after the event is over.
